Plastics for Africa – Terms & Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions detailed below carefully before ordering from Plastics for Africa.
The following terms and conditions apply to customers within South Africa.


1. Online Prices & Branch Contact Information

All prices displayed on our website are exclusive to online pricesOnline prices may differ from in-store(walk-in)  prices.  Submit your order request online in order to determine accurate costing and avoid disappointment.

We strongly recommend contacting your branch directly for confirmation of pricing, availability, and stock details before visiting the store.


2. Stock Representation Disclaimer

While we make every effort to represent stock accurately—including products generally stocked, items on backorder, products made-to-order, pack sizes, and attributes such as colour or size—stock may vary.

There may be instances where:

  • An item is temporarily out of stock.

  • A particular colour or size is unavailable.

  • Pack sizes or attributes differ from those displayed online.

We therefore encourage customers to contact their nearest branch for accurate in-store stock information before purchase.


3. Confirmed Orders

Payment must be received before any products and goods will be issued for delivery or collection.


4. Ordering Process

Once the order has been placed, and payment has been successful, the order will be approved by Plastics for Africa within 24 hours, before the delivery/collection process for any goods and products can commence.

There may be instances that we are unable to deliver due to distance, size of the delivery, or very remote farming and mining areas. In such cases, we will contact you to discuss further.


5. Delivery Charges

These are provided to you upon your request at the time of the proposed product being quoted for.

Two delivery options exist:

  • Delivery from Plastics for Africa to you.

  • Collection by you from Plastics for Africa.


6. Product Availability

Plastics for Africa will endeavor to ensure that all products being sold on the website are available and can be supplied in the specified delivery timeframes.

However, we cannot be responsible in instances when stock is not available from our vendors. In such cases, we will communicate with you directly about the various options, including offering you a full cash refund, if required.


7. Cancellation of Orders

Once an order has been placed and paid for, it cannot be canceled, especially in the case of special requests (unique quantities, specific sizes, or colours).

Prior to acceptance of a quote, orders requiring manufacturing due to unavailable stock will be considered binding.

A 10% handling fee may be levied on a case-by-case basis where cancellation does not negatively affect our stock holding ratio.


8. Errors in Content and Pricing

Plastics for Africa has ensured, to the best of our ability, that the content—including product descriptions, specifications, and prices—is accurate. However:

  • We cannot guarantee that all product descriptions and specifications are 100% accurate, as much of this information is received from vendors.

  • Images are for illustration purposes only and may vary slightly.

  • Stock availability and prices are subject to change without notice.

If a purchased item is no longer in stock, or if the price changes before quoting, Plastics for Africa reserves the right to alter information or cancel the order (with refund).


9. Copyright

All copyright, trademarks, and intellectual property rights on the Plastics for Africa website and its content are owned or licensed to Plastics for Africa.

Content may not be downloaded, copied, modified, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold, or distributed without prior written consent.


10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to review and update our terms and conditions at any time.


11. Warranty

Products supplied by us are suitable only for their designed and intended purpose. Customers must ensure products are handled, stored, and used in a reasonable manner consistent with the provided instructions.

We are not liable for injury, damages, or claims resulting from use contrary to these conditions.


12. Process for Defects

Please contact Plastics for Africa immediately to report any defects.

  • Include pictures and as much detail as possible.

  • Plastics for Africa will liaise with the vendor.

  • Items will either be repaired or replaced.

  • All related delivery charges will be for the account of the customer.
